System/protocol lead engineer on wireless networking
As a lead engineer for protocol development, the candidate will work with research and development of future wireless products. This includes MAC algorithm design and analysis, simulation and specification, and development of intellectual property. The candidate should have 5+ years of relevant experience and a Masters Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering. PhD is preferred.
Key responsibilities
* Protocol design, simulation, and development.
* C and C++ programming.
* Support of software and hardware implementation effort.
Required skills:
* Experience in protocol design and simulation, especially MAC layer.
* Fluent in C and C++ programming.
* Experience in existing wireless standards.
* Experience in technical leadership.
Desired skills:
* Proficiency in networking protocols and security protocols.
* Familiar with embedded hardware and software design, including RTOS and hardware/software interfaces.
* Experience in protocol design for low-power devices.
* System and interface specification.
* NS2/3 simulation experience.
